Wow, did you see that? I am giving away a $50 Vision Forum Gift Card from Vision Forum with the help of Teach Them Diligently.
Doug Phillips is one of the featured speakers for the Teach Them Diligently Convention. I have had the pleasure of attending two other conventions where Doug was a featured speaker. He is awesome and we love so many of the products that he has available through his store. In fact I did a ton of my Christmas shopping through Vision Forum. If you have any creation questions, large family questions, Doug is the man to ask…of course, Dr. Voddie Baucham could answer many of them also. Ken Ham will be there too, wow, see, you DON’t want to miss this!!
The Teach Them Diligently Convention is quickly approaching. In fact, there are just 44 days until it starts. Have you registered yet? I took care of this a few weeks ago.
Yesterday I went through the vendor list and made my plan. Hey, and they have updated since last night, so, I must go through it again…yay!!
For those wondering, there will be recordings of workshops, so you can get them at a later date, if you are not able to attend, but I believe if there is a possibility that you can attend, you need too. This is going to be one of those conventions that will be worth the money you spent to get there.
All vendors had to sign a form explaining that their products align with the young earth Creation beliefs. There isn’t anything questionable going to be allowed at this convention. This is what drew me to this convention way back in September.
The Teach Them Diligently Convention was born out of a recognized need for more events celebrating the focus of Christian Homeschool Families—which is to disciple their children to glorify God. The organizers of this Convention are also officers of Worldwide Tentmakers which is a Mission Agency focused on Tentmaking as a missions strategy as you would find in Acts 18. Therefore, Missions, discipleship, and parenting will be a large focus for the Teach Them Diligently Convention. This will be added to the normal Homeschool Convention focus on teaching techniques and use of curriculum.
There will be two distinctions to this Convention. First any vendors that touch on the Beginning or Creation or have a Bible Curriculum must sign a statement in agreement of two theological principles:
- Scripture teaches a recent origin for man and the whole creation, spanning approximately 4,000 years from creation to Christ, and the days in Genesis do not correspond to geologic ages, but are six [6] consecutive twenty-four [24] hour days of creation.
- The Bible is the plenary, verbally inspired Word of God. It is our final authority for faith and practice and is without error.
Second, all of the profits for the Teach Them Diligently Convention will go to missions. It is our hope to help parents infuse their educational programs with a Great Commission focus. Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God (I Cor. 10:31). We desire to focus parents and children on the fact that we should be seeking opportunities to spread the fame of our Lord Jesus Christ whether through school, playing sports, or running the family business.
Did you read that? Profits from your registration and attendance, will go to missions. Isn’t that awesome?
So, before it is too late, get registered, set up a plan, and I will see you there.
Oh, you wanted to hear about the giveaway didn’t you?
This giveaway is sponsored by Vision Forum. I was given free registration to Teach Them Diligently in return for helping publicize the convention.

I am so excited to go to this convention and LOVE the fact that all the profits go to missions!
Pick me!

Definitely looking forward to the Jeannie Fulbright workshops! As a newbie, I need lots of guidance!
We are excited to hear from Ken Ham again, as well as many others. We love the Vision Forum! Our daughter has SO enjoyed the ‘Liberty’ doll she got for Christmas.
I am looking forward to hearing Voddie Baucham at the conference. Of course, I love Ken Ham and Doug Phillips as well.
I look forward to hearing Jeannie Fulbright, Rebecca Keliher, Linda Lacour Hobar.
We are trying to get down there (from WI) as there will be much to glean from this type of convention. My husband heard Voddie speak several years ago and, I have to say, he sparked some serious investigating in my husband’s heart. Needless to say, many thanks to those who promote the Truth of the Bible instead of the traditions of man.
I don’t think I’ll be able to go to the convention this year, but I’d love to hear Mrs. Hobar, Mrs. Fulbright, or Mr. Kendrick speak.

When my husband saw that Voddie Baucham was going to be at the convention he said “Yes, we can go!” He loves to listen to him. So do I. My children were excited about Ken Ham.
We are thrilled about attending the Teach Them Diligently Convention. Our top three speaker choices are Voddie Baucham, Ken Ham, and Doug Phillips. We are also excited about hearing Linda Lacour Hobar and Sonya Schafer. They are all on our NEED to hear list!
Looking forward to hearing Voddie Baucham! I’ve never heard him speak before but have heard great things about him. I saw him interviewed on the Divided movie. Can’t wait for the convention! Our family is eagerly anticipating the great speakers at TTD!
CaNt wait! I getting registered next week.
All 3 of the headlining speakers would be wonderful to hear. I have done one of Ken Ham’s bible studies and loved it. My family has ordered many many things from vision forum this past year (especially as Christmas gifts), and Voddie is such an inspiration, I would love to see them all!
We would love to see so many of these conference speakers - our favorites are Voddie Baucham and Doug Phillips - these are two men that encourage our hearts and challenge us to walk closer with Christ.
I am excited to hear whom ever I am blessed to hear speak. I am excited about this opportunity.
Can’t wait to hear as many speakers as I can, especially the Youngs!
Ok, I’m not sure I can narrow down to just one speaker. I’d love to hear jeannie Fulbright, or Zan Tyler, or Doug Phillips. I’ve never heard Israel Wayne, so that would be cool. But I really like what Hal and Melanie Young do, so I’ll pick them.
