This morning as I ponder today’s verses…I realize that the jealousy I see from others, is because they don’t understand that God called me where I am. Many of the people I notice this jealousy from, I wouldn’t want to be where God called them, because in all honesty, I don’t have the strength to be there.
Consider that where you are, is where God wants you to be, because he created you to do this role.
Jealousy among Christians is never going to be a good thing. We can not stand united to bring forth the Glory of God, if jealousy is between us.
I draw my strength from God, I can’t do any of the things I accomplish without Him, because I am too disorganized and too impulsive. Draw close to God, allow Him to guide you and don’t be jealous of the opportunities and accomplishments of others, because He has a set He has planned just for you, if you can see past what He has provided for another.
When we are so focused on our jealousy of another person, we can’t see where God is guiding us. We miss opportunities that He has laid out for us.
When we allow God to guide us, we won’t have time to be jealous of another. Focus on Him and see what He has planned for you.
Psalm 78:52 (NASB)
But He led forth His own people like sheep And guided them in the wilderness like a flock;
Revelation 7:17 (NASB)
for the Lamb in the center of the throne will be their shepherd, and will guide them to springs of the water of life; and God will wipe every tear from their eyes."
Exodus 9:16 (NASB)
But, indeed, for this reason I have allowed you to remain, in order to show you My power and in order to proclaim My name through all the earth.
James 3:16 (NASB)
For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there is disorder and every evil thing.
James 3:14 (NASB)
But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, do not be arrogant and so lie against the truth.
