As a housewife, I am looked down upon with pity by society, however, I am the lucky one. I am not missing out on God’s calling to be home, for my husband, and children. I am right where I want, need, and called to be. I am a housewife, whether society likes it or not.

Being a housewife is more then society gives it credit. We wear many hats each and everyday. From cook, to maid, to janitor, to nurse, doctor, taxi driver, farm hand, grocer, teacher, principle, furniture repairer, seamstress, gardener, and the list goes on. Funny thing is, though we “do” more then the average working woman in a day, but we are considered less, by society. Why? Does it matter? No.

Holy Housewives is a group, to help encourage you on your journey as a housewife. We are here to support and pray, and give you a reading list that will help carry you through those times that society tries to convince you that you are not good enough, you have no worth, and that you are “just a housewife”.
