Project Cleanse~One Month to Clean Up One Area of My Life…

You have probably noticed, that I have been discussing getting our routines and such in order to smooth up our days. Well, I am actually going to keep with that. Project CleanseYep, our routine is printed and working pretty good, but what I find is that the daily drudgery of some of our chores is about more than my children can tolerate.

Why?

Because they tend to get sidetracked by things, while doing their chores, and then well, a five minute chore ends up taking twenty or even more minutes. So, my Cleanse is going to be Project Productive Cleanse, helping the entire family to become more productive.

Project Cleanse

Over the next several weeks, I will be blogging about ways to be more productive, ways to design the perfect or at least most productive routine. We will discuss ways to encourage your children as they work through their chores. Training children to do chores, and noticing when a team of children is not working out well. Among a few other things that will help streamline your productiveness.

I am also starting to work out and diet a bit, working to get in better health. Since November 12, I have lost 22 lbs. Exercising is hard, as I like to do it in a group setting and in our rural area, that doesn’t happen except for summer for water aerobics. What does getting in better health/shape have to do with productiveness? Well, a ton, as when you are in better shape, your stamina is higher, you can focus better, and you just plain feel better. So, I will be posting bits and pieces about this along this journey.

I will discuss a few of my favorite cleaning tools. And there is one room in my home that I keep the door closed on at all times. I plan to try and change that. EEEEEKKKKK… Yeah, that could be scary…

So, what tips for becoming more productive can you offer me? Come on, help a chaotic mom out…
