Are you in the Midwest? Near Kansas City?
The 2013 MPE Conference and Curriculum Fair will take place at the KCI Expo Center April 5-6. Last year I had the opportunity to attend this small, but meaty convention. I was quite impressed with the speaker lineup and the group putting the convention on. A friendly bunch who went out of their way to make a newcomer feel welcome!!

It is about my life as a farmer’s wife, as a cook, a baker, a nurse, a teacher, a woodworker, a housekeeper, a farmer (yep, I drive tractors, pick up hay bales, and other farm duties), a gardener. So, what you read here, is me, as a transparent sometimes hot headed, passionate, and opinionated person.
My husband and I are going to the ICHE conference in June in Naperville, Illinois. This is our first year homeschooling so we are definitely look for all the conferences, info and help we can get
so close to where I live!!
I’m going to TPA Convention in Wichita, but would love to go tho the Midwest Parent Educators convention as well.. I look most forward to the convention from learning from others, looking at the curriculum to purchase. Meeting new homeschoolers as well.
I have never been to a convention before but would love to attend. I am actually only 2 hours from KC!
