I had a doctor appointment am so glad to get answers to why I have had no energy and not being able to lose any weight. A few natural changes and I can already see the difference.
I was also able to use my Christmas money to get our family a Tablet PC/eReader. I am already seeing the huge benefit for homeschool and for my hubby to use to research different things he wants to do for our home, shop and farm.
In our homeschool this week…
We started our first week of Mystery of History. We are using Volume 1. I am loving this, and so are my children. They asked over Christmas break, if we could do World History. We had been using this in our TruthQuest studies, but only for American History. So, the change is nice, and I DO plan to get the TruthQuest Guides that will corresponde as I love the extra commentary that is a strong Biblical stand.

Find your children’s interest and use them to your advantage. My oldest is very interested in anything nature. He also loves to work on the computer and use a camera. Well, combining the three has covered, science, grammar, writing, typing, creation science, and more. Bingo, one fight I am not fighting any longer.
I am inspired by…
How to Have a HEART for YOUR Kids. I am joining several other moms as we read this together via an online book club. This is a wonderful book and I am so excited to get into it.
My favorite thing this week was…
No sickness. On Dec. 23 our youngest two got sick with what we thought was a simple cold, it quickly turned to pneumonia for Hannah. She is much better and again running around and playing, telling everyone she is three…Not til Saturday though.
Things I’m working on…
I have challenged myself to declutter and organize our home better. This is going to be a long process. Sadly, I let things fall behind between each of the last four babies…However, they are so very worth it.
I’m reading…
How to Have a HEART for your Kids.
I’m grateful for…
God’s healing in my family as we were all not feeling well for about two weeks. More time during the winter months with my hubby.
I’m praying for…
Noah, Brylin, Heidi and several more fellow friends. A good year of crops for our area, rain and good yields are really needed to help keep many family farmers up and running for another season.
