Though I don’t post pictures often my blog, I have over 6000 on my computer. So, it is not that I don’t take them. I just typically don’t post them here. If you watch my facebook updates, you see a lot of them there. With time I plan to post more here, for those who are not on facebook and want to stay up to date with who we are.
My favorite pictures are almost always taken outside, and taken on the spur of the moment. I don’t typically plan them, rarely do I plan a backdrop, but I will use our antique farm equipment often, and do try to get pictures of the children with our two pieces of antiques that have been a part of the family for four generations now. There is a soft place in my heart for antiques and antique equipment that is still used on the farm has an extra special place.
In this collage the center photo is a picture with a 1952 G John Deere that was originally purchased by my Grandpa new. It was then passed down to my dad, and then sold, then summer 2008 Brad and I bought it back. Our 3 yr old, Noah adores this tractor. He is his Daddy’s boy.
