Why build an online support system for moms?

Basic Disclosure for all post

Why would moms need an online support system?

Because we are busy.

  • Busy working from home to help make ends meet
  • Busy serving in church
  • Busy raising our children
  • Busy helping on farms or with husband’s business
  • Some are raising children alone.

Who needs an online support system?

  • Moms who are homeschooling
  • Moms who are homemakers… there is a missing generation of being taught how to keep a home
  • Moms who are working from home
  • Moms who don’t have support close by
  • Moms who struggle to get out of the house alone to support groups etc
  • Moms who are stuck in the nursery on Sunday mornings with little ones.
  • Moms who work away from home
  • Moms who are married to servicemen.
  • Most moms… We need to be the Titus 2 roles for each other because the ideal Titus 2 women have been lost to our societies idea that women are to be working as God designed men to…

Where to Find Support?

I follow a few blogs that offer regular support, encouragement and helps for moms who homeschool and are homemakers. You can find blogs by women who are working from home and working away from home. There are blogs for breastfeeding, babywearing, homeschool, homemaking, recipes and so much more. Google your interest and then find a few and subscribe.

I also am a part of a few Facebook Groups or Communities that are very helpful. There is literally a group for everyone. I will list a few a bit later.

Follow a few Twitter Hashtags if you are on Twitter.
#Wahm
#Homeschool
#HSMommas

Those are a few I follow.

Pinterest also has tons of helpful thing for moms. A great way to see what your favorite blogs are recommending.

You are so right! As a homeschooling mom of 11, the only interaction I usually get with other women is with fellow bloggers and people on Twitter. Thank you for all the resources!
