TenMarks Math is an online based math program. It can be used as your entire math curriculum or as a supplement to your regular curriculum.
We used it to supplement our fifth grader’s regular math, Teaching Textbooks. He is behind in math for his grade. He did two to four worksheets a week and would be rewarded on Fridays with a fun care racing game called Crazy Taxi. In fact all he allowed all our children and daddy a chance to play Crazy Taxi.
TenMarks really motivated him to get his school work done during the week so he could play the game over the weekend some.
I am able to adjust what concepts his assigned worksheets cover to compliment what he is covering in his Teaching Textbooks assignments. I really enjoy the versatility of TenMarks.

Customization Screen
Every week the parent is sent an email with the child’s report and information of what has been covered and what needs improvement. The parent account allows parents to step in and customize, view and check on everything a student is covering.
I did try this with my second grader, but she was not ready. That is understandable as the program is geared for 3rd-12 grades.

TenMarks appears to be worth the money for our fifth grader. If your student struggles with computer work and staying on task it may not work so well. We will continue to use it through the year, and re-evaluate it’s need next fall.
