How Big IQ Kids works:
BigIQkids.com turns your computer into an online learning academy by providing daily academic lessons for young learners in an interactive, easy to follow format. For the best results, children should log into BigIQkids.com daily and complete their lessons and quizzes. This “daily” strategy builds invaluable study habits, leads to better grades and greater self confidence.

As a parent or teacher, you can easily create your own word lists and spelling lessons will automatically create a week’s worth of lessons, quizzes and tests around your custom list with the goal of achieving 100% mastery by Friday.
- Big IQ Math allows you to set up a child’s lesson according to what they are doing in their current curriculum. Math time can also automatically generate grade specific and subject specific lessons geared to your child’s needs.
- Big IQ Kids Vocabulary contains an extensive library of elementary through SAT prep words. Again the vocabulary are is customizable by you manually setting it up with your regular curriculum words, or it has preset lessons for your child to work through.

Through out the Big IQ Kids learning experience children are rewarded charts and special game coupons allowing them to have a little break from the lesson time. Our oldest really enjoyed using Big IQ Kids. I chose him for this review as he has the most experience with computer lessons and this allowed us to move faster and really get an idea of how this program works. He really liked using Big IQ Kids. His favorite area was Spelling and that is one of his weakest areas. He enjoyed getting rewarded for his hard work.
I found it a bit difficult at first to customize the lessons to what we were currently working on, but did manage to get it done. I also found the computer generated robotic voices a little annoying. However, that is probably the adult in me. lol
Each lesson is very interactive and helps drawn the student in, helping them gain and be able to retain the information learned. We will continue to use this through the year. My husband would like to be able to renew our subscription when the time comes, but that will depend on available funds.
If you are interested in Big IQ Kids, I recommend trying the free versions to see how it works for your family. If you find it a good fit, you can always upgrade to the premium version. There is a free seven day trial available too.
As part of the TOS Crew, I received a free premium membership including all four subjects in return for my honest review. I will receive no further compensation.
